Account Deletion

At Spressify, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time directly from the app.
How to Delete Your Account
Account deletion is available directly inside the Spressify app. Follow these steps:
- Open the Spressify app and sign in to your account.
- Go to your Profile or Settings screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete My Account in the Danger Zone section.
- Read the warning about what will be deleted and tap Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
- If prompted, re-enter your password or sign in with Google to verify your identity.
Account deletion is processed immediately. Once confirmed, your account and personal data are permanently removed. This action cannot be undone.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When you delete your account, the following actions are performed:
- Your account is permanently removed from our authentication system.
- Your personal profile data is deleted from our database.
- If you are a business owner, your business listing, services, and subscription are also removed.
- A confirmation email is sent to your registered email address.

Data Retention
Certain records may be retained for a limited period after account deletion, as required by applicable law. This may include:
- Transaction and payment records — retained for tax and accounting compliance.
- Booking history — retained in anonymized form for business reporting purposes.
- Fraud prevention records — retained to protect the safety and integrity of our platform.
System backups containing deleted data may take up to 30 days to fully clear.
