What payment methods are accepted?

Spressify accepts the following payment methods:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Debit cards
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

How do I add or remove a payment method?

To manage your payment methods:

  • Go to Profile > Payment Methods
  • Tap "Add Payment Method" to add a new card
  • Swipe left on any card to remove it
  • Tap "Set as Default" to change your primary payment method
When am I charged for a booking?

Payment timing depends on the salon:

  • Most salons: Your card is charged when you book
  • Some salons: A hold is placed and charged after your appointment

The payment policy is shown before you confirm your booking.

How do refunds work?

Refund process:

  • Refunds are processed automatically when you cancel within the policy window
  • Refunds go back to your original payment method
  • Processing time: 5-10 business days depending on your bank

If you don't see your refund after 10 business days, contact support.

How do salon owners receive payouts? (For Business Owners)

Salon owner payouts:

  • Connect your bank account via Stripe during onboarding
  • Payouts are sent automatically after appointments complete
  • Standard payout schedule: 2 business days
  • View all payouts in your Dashboard > Earnings

Transaction fees (2% per transaction, capped at $150/month) are deducted automatically.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes, your payment information is highly secure:

  • All payments processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant)
  • Your card details are never stored on our servers
  • All data transmitted using bank-level encryption (TLS 1.3)
  • Fraud detection and prevention built-in
